I saw a Gallhammer picture. In the picture a member had an Amebix t-shirt. Amebix is a good crust punk band. But the band was clad in black metal gear. I realized what the band would sound like.
Darkthrone also sounds like crust punk and black metal, but Gallhammer is different. They have a lot of slow, experimental songs, and less of a goofy attitude. But there is still plenty of black metal and punk there. If you like your metal or punk slow, like doom metal or power violence, this is for you.
