Camille "Le Fil" 2005

Camille is a French pop artist. This is her second full-length, and it's interesting because it's done a capella. There's some creative beatboxing and rhythm done, not unlike Björk's "Medúlla" from '04, though the style of songs here are completely different than Björk.

The entire album has a very faint hum on purpose, it's not an error with the recording, ripping, or encoding. The note is a B natural and Camille describes it as "her note". But in France, some people thought it was an error and returned the CD to the store.

This is the special US edition of the CD with bonus tracks. Just b-sides, leftovers from the recording session I guess. They're all really good songs, so I actually am including the bonus tracks. Still only 47 minutes for 18 songs, so this album is sporadic. Average track length of 2:33.

And, yes, a download of course. But please consider buying.
